The German movement pushed the Allied armies to the sea to a French port named Dunkirk. During what 800 small vessels tried to lift most of the staff off the beaches and back to England. The RAF succeeded in keeping the most of German bombers and fighters away, shooting down 150 crews. The RAF pilots felt greatly as they managed to deflect the attack in unequal fight. Nevertheless, losses of fighters and pilots were significant. By 18 June, all British armed formations had been called back from France.

In Britain the period was spent taking as many new crews and skilled pilots into service as possible, to guard against the assault everyone knew was coming. The truce was essential to the British air forces, as it permitted them to get ready. By the early of July 1940, the RAF had gathered up all its might to 640 fighters. The stage was prepared. In the sky above South East England, the future of Britain was about to be determined. As the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill put it: "What General Weygrand named the Battle of France is over, the Battle of Britain is about to start".

On one night attack, some plane bombed civilian regions of London by error, the error that had to become a significant turning point in the Battle. It took place in 1923 that the German Defense Ministry signed a treaty with the Soviet Union that permitted them to make up full training facilities near Lipezk. Pilots and aircraft mechanics were directed there to accept a thorough and full plan of training.
